Trip to  Cuyulatan - Return trip Home

We packed up on Monday and headed back leaving behind a beautiful sunny day, the waves beckoning and wouldn't ya know it...the owner of the cottage found a boogie board under his bed in his condominium where he was staying!  3 days too late! Aaah well, it will be there for next time.  Bob has volunteered to do some home repairs in return for us staying there again.

One of many small places along the road as we drove home.  This one sold stuffed armadillos.

Not sure what this was in the middle of no where.

In the background is an active volcano located in Colima.

In this picture you can see that at the base of the volcano there are homes and businesses.  Several times a year the homes are covered with about and inch of ashes.

This is the backside of the active volcano in Guzman in the state of Colima.

Across the street from the volcano was this home and the sign read "Music and Burritos".

The water in this reflection is only about 5 inches deep.  Nothing grows on the land.  It is too salty as it was once a lakebed.

This beautiful long and high mountain range continued for  many miles.

The countryside is beautiful.

We are now entering Jototecpec about 20 minutes from home.

Street café in  Jototecpec.

This is the sight we see each day..we have arrived back in Ajijic.
