Return to Cuyulatan - Part 2
This well kept and attractive home was close to our cottage.
As you can see this street was empty of people or even dogs. Dogs are everywhere where we live in Ajijic.
This street had one woman walking with her umbrella to protect her from the sun.
We laughed at this "playboy" looking club! No sign of people here either.
Another empty street.
The main street is decorated for Christmas, but no cars and only a few people to be seen.
Nice house and another street--no people.
The hotel across the street from our cottage, but no guests.
Our last day at the beach.
Our last sunset
We sat around the pool our last evening and the street light made the "broken bottle security system" on the top of the wall look like candles in glasses!
Driving home we passed many fields of sugar cane.
We also passed several trucks overloaded with sugar cane stalks.
We stopped at an OXXO to get gas and this overloaded sugar cane truck was broken down.
The active volcano letting off steam.
This little church was on a large hill in a remote area.
The drive back is beautiful, full of large mountains, ravines - gorgeous scenery.
This field was so beautiful.
These mountains all along the way are incredibly beautiful to see. The whole 3 hours is full of wonderful scenery and the time just flies by.
We arrived home safely and we are shaking the sand from our suitcases and clothes and remembering our great week at the beach.
