Wednesday was a busy day. It is market day in Ajijic.  On a cobblestone street for about a mile vendors set up their wares.  They sell everything, and I do mean everything from DVD's, carvings,   pottery, shoes, clothes, jewelry, pots and pans, cooked foods, flowers, fresh fruit and vegetables grown locally and assorted misc. items. The market was pretty crowded by the time we left with Mexicans, Americans and stray dogs.

Fresh fish and shrimp

Each vendor has a cover as to keep themselves and their customers out of the sun.

Beautiful flowers.

Bob buying fruits and vegetables.

I was very surprised to see crabs on one of the seafood tables.  An American woman saw me eyeing them and she said she had eaten some and they were good.  That will be one of my next purchases!

The flowers are very reasonable.  This large arrangement was about $3.00.

Next stop was our bank.  It is very beautiful inside.  We needed to exchange some money.  The exchange rate for that day was $12.30 US.  Our money is still strong here. Our personal representative is named Brenda.  Her mother is Bob's sister's best friend. She is so friendly and speaks perfect English.  She and her husband lived in Canada for 3 years.

This beautiful plant was in the parking lot.

Next stop was a visit to our post office box.  Our mailing address is in Laredo, TX and they then deliver it to our P.O. box in Ajijic 3 times a week.  This is the safest way to make sure you will receive your mail and in a more timely manner.

We decided to have lunch out.  This was a nice place.  The food was good and
the garden inside was lovely with live entertainment. Prices were comparable to Paneras.

Asian chicken salad

Turkey, mashed  potatoes, gravy and vegetables

Bob had a good looking hamburger on specialty bread and potato salad.

As Bob keeps saying, "Another beautiful day in paradise".
