Today we got fingerprinted.  They took the fingerprints of all fingers on the left and right hand.  We are one step closer to receiving our "green card"! Hopefully in 2 weeks.

We recently visited the boardwalk in Chapala.  It was so sad to see the difference in the water level in the lake since our visit 4 years ago. Some example are:

Four years ago

Now

All the grassy area was filled with water 4 years ago.

The same goes for this picture, the grassy area was lake and filled with boats.

Much rain is needed to make up for the shortfall.  The rainy season here begins in about June or July and runs through about September.  It rains some in the day, like in Miami for a short time and longer in the overnight hours.

This is a beautiful hotel and restaurant across from the Lake.  It was once a Braniff Estate.

You will find several musicians playing for tips along the boardwalk.  The two boys walking in the picture begged for money and Bob gave them some.  Probably wanted to buy some ice cream or sodas.  Their faces lit up!

The boardwalk is beautiful.  Many benches are placed along the way to sit and enjoy the sights.

This picture was taken on the way back to our house.

Around the corner this house is for rent.  It is very beautiful looking. A friend of Bob's sister lived here for a short time.

This bug was found in the yard.  It is about 3 inches long.  It is really good looking.  It was      already dead.

This was found on our bedroom wall and I wish it was already dead.  I swatted it with the broom and it ran very fast around the corner and leaped downstairs not to be found again, yet! It was about 6" across.   Bob's sister said it was not poisonous.  Good to know, but very scary looking regardless.

The woman who lives in the 3 bedroom house on the property went back to the states to settle some storage unit issues and we took care of her dog, Gigi.  She is adorable.

I brought a little bit of Denbigh with me in the form of wind chimes given to me by Leona Ross.  We are enjoying the wonderful sound as there is much wind here.
