Wednesday is always market day in Ajijic.  It is the best place to buy a variety of fresh fruit and vegetables.  There is also a market in Chapala on Mondays.  We are going to try that market this coming week.

Everything is for sale at the market ...even baby roosters and chickens.

Pots and pans of all kinds.  Better selection than Walmart.

Paintings.

After shopping, we took a side street back to the car.

This mural was on  the front of a house.

This is the house.  It has no wall around it.  It is really nice looking.

We liked the planters on this roof top with square and pyramid shaped plants.

We took the groceries home and headed to the malecon for a leisurely walk.

This family was walking on  the lake shore.

We met Pedro and his son, Brian.  Pedro spoke a little English.

There is lots of wildlife to enjoy along the shore.

The malecon is very clean and as you see very deserted.

This is a humorous sign asking patrons to clean up after their dogs.  In the sign, the dog is the one cleaning up!

I never tire of the beauty and quiet of the malecon on weekdays.

These are 3-D designs on a wall as we walked back to the car.
