The weather here has been hotter than usual...about 87 degrees.  The butcher we buy our meat from said it usually begins to get cooler by this time of the year, but not so far.

We started our day off by going to the organic market.  We had met a couple at Walmart who live in Jototecpec and saw them at the market and had brunch with them.  It is always great to make new friends.  They live in a  different nearby area.  They moved here about 8 years ago and are from the states.. Chicago and Wisconsin.  They introduced us to their friend who is a writer and is from Lithuania. This area of Mexico is truly a melting pot of people.

We parked near this beautiful house to go into the organic market.

We decided to drive to Jototecpec about 15 minutes away to take our daily 2 mile walk in the park there.  It also is along the lakeside.  It was amazing that almost no one was there except a few young students.  It was probably about 60-75 acres and had about 25 grills for public use, nice playground for children, walking trails and more.
