Wow! The wind is really blowing here tonight.  I heard a hurricane is hitting the coast.  The wind is possibly connected to the storm.  Thankfully, we still have power.

A few days ago we decided to have lunch at a small outdoor eatery where we ate 4 years ago.  It is located in San Juan Cosala , about 10 minutes away. They seem to be prospering.  They have twice as many tables, but still make their tortillas by hand on a grate that is over a wheelbarrow filled in with concrete and containing coals.  The food was as good as it was 4 years ago.  The menus are in Spanish, so we had to make a guess at what we were ordering!

Bob, Pat and Ray ordering lunch.

Bob's sister ordered tea and this is what she received!  I traded water for it, as she didn't like it.  It tasted like sparkling cider.

Pat, Ray and myself had Chiles Rellenos...oooh...yummy!

Bob had fried flat chicken, rice and salad.

The view from this little place on the main highway is gorgeous.  Unfortunately, it was very hazy that day so the mountain across from the lake is only partially visible.

After lunch we decided to take a ride into what is called The Racquet Club.  We wanted so see the spa there.  It is supposed to be incredible.

Driving up the mountainside to reach the Club.  There are many expensive homes in this gated community.

 The mountain views are beautiful.

There are areas you can rent for the day, week or month.

It is really far up the mountainside.  Below are the houses near the lake.

The property is beautiful.

You can sit and enjoy a beautiful panorama view of the lake and mountains on the opposite side.

This is the information  area where they give out brochures as to what is available.  We were not able to go any further on the property as the whole complex had been booked for the day for a convention.

Seating area outside of the information center.

I loved this mural on a house as we drove out of the area.  The artist did a                             great job! It had a 3-D feel to it.
