On Sunday morning we slept a little later after our Fender-Bender fiasco the night before!  We had invited a couple who had also just moved here from Canada to come over for drinks and  appetizers.  Bob met the husband on one of our lake side walks.  Bob said  they could bring their 2 adorable pug dogs over as we have a dog also and so does his sister.   The couple arrives and we go upstairs to enjoy the view and appetizers.  After about 10 minutes, I am facing the lake view and they are seated with their backs to the view of the lake, one of their dogs is playing on the balcony and for no apparent reason, takes a flying leap over the balcony wall , dropping 12-15 feet on the cement below.  I was the only one to see the pug jump and was so horrified that I could hardly speak.  I felt as if I as going to have a heart attack!  Their precious dog had just jumped off the balcony.  We immediately went down stairs to check on the dog. I stayed behind a little to pray urgently for a miracle for their dog not to be hurt.  We found their dog about 20  ft. away from where she jumped and was walking around.  I was thankful to God to see her walking around.  I told the couple if they wanted to leave immediately and take her to the vet, please do so.  They said no that it would be better to just keep an eye on her and if she seemed worse, take her then and have her examined.  They stayed for about 2 hours and she continued to act pretty much OK.  We received an email from them that they had taken her to the vet the next day and the vet she was OK.  Praise God who hears and answers prayers!

This is our balcony wall and the corner where it happened.

As you can see, it was quite a drop.

This church is on the street by the Chapala Market we go to on Mondays.

This is a butcher shop where dogs often wait at the door for the butcher to give them "hand outs"!

Another dog looking for a "hand-out".

Mexican wall art.

Driving to do our usual 2 mile walk by the lake.

View of the mountains on the way to the lake.

We usually go down this street and turn right to park for our walk.  This morning a truck was blocking the street and driving the wrong way on a one way street!

 View on our morning walk.

Often in the morning, it will look like rain, but the clouds disappear and by about 9:30, it is sunny!

So many beautiful flowers all along the way to enjoy!
